Officially opening on July 16 th 2016, the artistic mansion is conceptualized as an international fashion destination integrating a collection showroom, VIP fitting salons, an art gallery, library, dining room and fashion lounge.

The Opening of the House of Grace Chen marks an exciting evolution for the Grace Chen brand, which was invested by Chengwei Capital, one of China's top private equity funds, backed by prestigious institutional capital from the US and Europe.

The three-story mansion, which features original steel-framed glass French doors and a large marble balcony on the top floor, was carefully restored and decorated by heritage design specialists, Kokaistudios. It is an award winning architecture and interior design firm founded in 2000 in Venice by Italian architects Filippo Gabbiani & Andrea Destefanis. Kokaistudios is known for landmark projects such as Bund 18, Shanghai K11 Art Mall and Richemont China Headquarters.

Decorated in soft pastel shades to complement the Grace Chen couture, the ground floor features a showroom of the designer's latest styles, and a relaxed lounge area where client consultations are conducted in style and comfort.

The second floor offers three VIP dressing rooms for private fittings. Each one is styled with its own distinctive design and color palette, from crème to dark grey and royal purple. A couture dress rack, dressing table, spacious lounge and specially created lighting enhance the luxurious bespoke experience. Chiffon curtains open to reveal the leafy canopy of French plane trees outside. One dressing room also features a light-filled indoor balcony, while another offers a more masculine decor for fittings of Grace Chen's upcoming menswear line. The House of Grace Chen[/caption]

Beneath exposed wood beams on the top floor is Grace Chen's own favorite space. The library features light wood floors, dove-grey brick walls and arched alcoves. This intimate venue presents a sophisticated setting for hosting salons on issues of interest to Grace Chen's distinguished clientele, such as art, fashion, personal style, wellbeing and parenting.

A former garage has been transformed into a glass-encased gallery for art and fashion exhibitions and social events for up to 20 guests. An adjoining building features indoor and garden dining areas, an open show kitchen plus a private suite for out-of-town VIP visitors.
